Generate alerts and warnings

The TimeFiler business rules engine can be configured to generate colour-coded alerts and warnings to employees and managers as they fill in their timesheet.

Such alerts could be critical for ensuring correct payments (for example, make sure Public Holiday reasons are only used on Public Holidays), others could be information only (overtime payments incurred). Have as many as you like. You choose.

Business Rule parameters

Administrators have access to Business Rules parameters. Parameters provide the ability to make changes to rules very easily, for example, overtime was payable after 8 hours per day, it has now changed to 8.5 hours. No need to get a consultant to modify your rules - just update a single field.

Compare timesheet to roster

Sometimes employee payments are dependent on rostered hours for the day. For example, any hours worked outside of rostered hours is payable at overtime rates.

Not a problem in TimeFiler. Business Rules are able to compare actual hours worked with the employee's rostered hours. Different rules can be applied based on employee status, in fact, any employee field you like.

E-mails are sent out from TimeFiler to managers and employees during different stages of the timesheet and leave request workflows.
